Updating web pages for a start-up app using their exsisting brand guidelines while simplifying the layout to make a more mobile friendly user experience. The original design was cluttered with lots of text covering a busy image making it difficult to direct them to sign up. By removing the image and creating a fun gradient based on the brand colors, the message becomes clear and the new button placement encourages action.
A 50 day, 48 state tour of punk and rock's biggest music names needs an easy to navigate site. Find dates, locations, and who plays where with a sorting list made with JSON on this handmade responsive site. Using a color palette and font inspired by the grungy style of the shoe brand, Vans, I condensced the site to only the most important information that a younger punk-rocker would need. A video banner of last years event entices new and old comers to join the tour. The band list can be sorted by genre and which locations they will attend with links to their specific artist page so customers can discover new groups. A responsive photo gallery gives a glimpse into the event.
